PPT   To all passengers: There is a good reason why you should stay seated with your seat belts fastened until the plane has reached its parking position and the engines are turned off!

To all pilots and maintenance crews: "RTFC !! - READ THE FUCKING CHECKLIST!!!!

Update on information:
This was in Memphis, TN about 4 years ago.
- The acft was being taxied into the gate after a
maintenance  run with only 2 mechanics at the controls/onboard.
- Mechanics had disabled one of the hydraulic systems by pulling its circuit breakers.  With the other
system's engine not running - they were at the mercy
of limited brake applications due the accumulator.
- The aircraft provided many spare parts for years to
  come!!

This used to be a robin DR400!
With a glider on tow, the pilot was told there was smoke coming out at about
30 feet, the glider released, the highly skilled pilot threw the Robin at the
ground, stopped and vacated, she was fine, the aircraft wasn’t! It took less
than 10 minutes to reduce it to this!
